Levinson Blade - Durango Custom Shop Model in Mint Condition with Custom Blade Flightcase. Made in Switzerland. Gary Levinson builds amazing guitars, but doesnt seem to be the best marketer. I would put the quailty, playability, and sound of this guitar up against ANY big name custom shop guitar. If this guitar said "Gibson", "Fender", or "PRS" on the headstock, it would easily be the top of the line guitar and a hell of a lot more money. However, most of the world has yet to learn about these amazing guitars. This particular guitar is one of the very first Custom Shop Durango guitars built in Gary Levinson's custom shop in Switzerland. Below is a description of the DC-2, same specs, but the second version of this guitar. This is the ORIGINAL DC. Only a handful of the originals were made...this is rare guitar. The custom 5-way switch adds outside/inside single coils combination to the classic humbucker sounds and the trademark VSC-3 breaks through conventional tonal boundaries. A truly exceptional instrument.
